If you have a weekend, you could possibly get a batch of waffles done! I tried 6, 10, 15, 20, and 25 minutes and still got the same results - a limp, greasy, flabby and pale poor excuse for a waffle. At least is was consistant; however, I learned through experimentation that if you remove the limp waffle and put it in the oven for 10 minutes at 325 degrees, the waffle crisps up and is passable.

So, in conclusion, if you plan on making waffles for a nice weekend breakfast, you may want to start Friday afternoon.

Save your money and just make pancakes.

The green light to signal "Ready" never comes on, therefore it never gets hot enough to make a proper waffle. I decided to go ahead & make a waffle after I let it warm-up for 15 minutes any way. Bad decision. It took 15 minutes for the batter to cook enough for removal from the machine & it was still unevenly cooked partial dough. UTTER disappointment.
