The chairs are aweful - completely uncomfortable and in my opinion unusable because of it. Because of their shape, it's not like it would be easy to make a cushion either or buy one to fix this problem. I wish I had just returned this table. My boyfriend said it was a PAIN to put together and even broke a piece of it just assembling. I know it's cheap, but it's too cheap. I wouldn't have paid 50$ for this if I had saw it in person. Whoops.
